Eleonora Petridou is the Chief Information Security Officer at RIPE NCC and has been part of the DIVD board since 2022. She began her career as an ethical hacker, where she discovered her passion for cybersecurity by breaking things to make them better. That curious and hands on hacker mindset still shapes her approach today. Over the years, she has built deep expertise in security leadership, risk management and threat analysis, with key roles at RIPE NCC, Booking.com and KPMG. Together with the rest of the board, the focus is on strengthening DIVD’s governance and risk management, collaborating with the Advisory Board and improving strategic oversight. The board is also working closely with the management team to shape a sustainable financial future for DIVD, exploring diverse funding opportunities. The aim is to help DIVD grow while staying true to its mission and what it stands for.
