Sigurd has been active in the IT sector since 1995, amassing extensive experience in the management of Windows and Linux enterprise servers. His career has seen him work within large-scale organizations across various critical sectors, including banking, insurance, telecommunications, government, and aviation. Beyond routine administration, Sigurd has been deeply involved in numerous projects focused on the migration and security hardening of Windows and Linux servers within complex network infrastructures. His foundational experience even extends to the IBM and OS/2 domains, showcasing a versatile and long-standing commitment to the field. This wealth of knowledge is further validated by his attainment of multiple Microsoft and Red Hat certifications, underscoring his dedication to professional development and industry best practices. Driven by a commitment to societal contribution, Sigurd has actively supported various charitable causes and joined the Dutch Institute for Vulnerability Disclosure (DIVD) in May 2022. His primary focus within DIVD leverages his Google Workspace certifications in administration, security, and email management. This expertise allows him to contribute significantly to the organization's operational efficiency and security posture. Drawing upon his extensive background in enterprise server management and security, Sigurd plays a crucial role as a Google Workspace administrator for DIVD, with a particular emphasis on monitoring DMARC.
